Form W-2G: The payer's SSN is incorrect or does not match what is currently on file with the IRS and Social Security Administration.
Fix #1: Sign into your PriorTax account to double check that the SSN you entered for your payer matches what is reported on your issued W-2G. If it does not match, then you can update the SSN right from your rejection status page and resubmit for filing.
Fix #2: If the SSN you entered matches what is shown on your W-2G, then you may need to contact the payer for the correct SSN. You can then sign into your PriorTax account and follow the on-screen prompts to make the necessary change. Resubmit for filing.
