Tracking down your prior year’s tax forms can be a scary thought. If you can’t find it, what chance does the IRS have? It’s not as awful as you might think, though: there are some annoying forms to fill out, but they’re not too hard to understand.

If you need a copy of 1040 for for 2007 tax return, you don’t have to recreate it from memory or dig up all the information you used. Instead, you’ll just fill out IRS Form 4506. Form 4506 is a way to request from the IRS that they send you a particular form.

However, if you need a copy of 1040 form for 2007 tax return and cannot wait, it may be faster and easier to request a tax return transcript directly from the IRS site. Completing a request only takes 5 minutes and the IRS will usually mail it to you within ten business days.

      As long as you filed your 2019 or 2018 tax return, the IRS should have updated information to mail or direct deposit you the stimulus check. If you have an account with us, log into your account to download your 2007 tax return. Otherwise, you will need to request a copy of your 2007 tax return with the IRS.
